Activity

ULTRA VOX vocal group was established in Loiano (Bologna, Italy) early in 2000. It was a joint project of former Loiano Choir, left without a leader, and the conductor Massimo Montanari. Together they formed a new mixed SATB a cappella group, with an unusual repertoire of Italian and international popular music from 1940's onwards.

We made our debut on 2 June 2001 in the CHOIRS & BAND concert. Wr presented a choir-cabaret program of songs from 1938 to 1959, performed live a cappella, and enriched with original choreographies. The audience greatly enjoyed the show both for its unusual musical offering and its entertaining artistic presentation.

So far, we have performed more than fifty concerts in various Italian regions - Campania, Emilia Romagna, Friuli Venezia Giulia, Liguria, Lombardia, Marche, Veneto.
